Rockin' FAQs

Q: How much will the tickets cost?

A: Tickets will cost $25 each.

Q: Where can I get tickets?

A: Tickets will be available online though this link on this website, by phone at 1(800) 594-TIXX (8499) or they can be purchased in person at select Jewel Food Stores, the locations of which are listed elsewhere on this site.  Also, all OSOT America members will be selling tickets.

Q: Can I buy tickets at the gate the day of the concert?

A:  Unlikely.  Past Rockin concerts have sold out in advance.  If there are tickets left they will likely be gone early in the day.  Your best chance to get a ticket is to buy them early.

Q:  Will there be Will Call pick up for tickets?

A:   Yes.   If you purchase tickets online within one week of the concert, they will be available on the day of the concert at the Will-Call location located the RR Donnelly  parking lot only.  See the information on Parking for directions to the RR Donnelly lot (Click Here)

Q: I will be bringing a young child/baby. Will I need to purchase a ticket for them?

A: Everyone regardless of age require a ticket.   Remember this is a fundraiser for our military, families and veterans with limited attendance.

Q:  Is there a military discount?

A:  No. We opted to keep our ticket price low and affordable for all attending.

Q: What about parking?

A: A very limited amount of parking will be available at Cantigny Park for a charge of $10, and note that Cantigny parking passes cannot be used at Rockin.   (RVs and other oversized vehicles may be extra.)  However, there will be FREE offsite parking at the DuPage County complex or Navistar parking lot with convenient FREE shuttle service to and from the concert. We urge you to avoid the lines to get into the park and go directly to the off site lots listed on this website.  The shuttles will begin running at noon and will continue running until 30 minutes after the concert ends.  Please note that wagons and large coolers cannot be loaded onto the shuttle busses, and no “drop-off” is allowed at Cantigny.

Q: What about accessibility for the disabled?

A Handicapped accessible busses are part of our shuttle service.   There are also several rows of handicapped parking.  However this parking does fill up early so if you absolutely require on site parking please arrive before 2:00PM.   If you require assistance getting to a spot on the lawn please let the parking attendant know once you are parked.

Q: What should we bring?

A: This is an outdoor Ravinia-style lawn concert. Portable chairs or picnic blankets would make sitting on the grass more comfortable. You may also bring your own outside food and beverages into the park; however, alcohol is not permitted.

Q: What should we NOT bring?

A: Cantigny Park respectfully requests that you not bring anything that would involve stakes in the ground. Any tents or umbrellas that are necessary during the heat of the early afternoon must not involve stakes, and must be taken down when requested by concert staff, for the enjoyment of all concert attendees.  Grills are not allowed on the parade grounds, but can be used in designated picnic areas.  Seating areas may not be “save” off in any manner using ropes, string, tape, etc; however, seating areas may be reserved with tarps or blankets.  Chinese flying lanterns may not be released at the concert.

Q:  Can I bring alcohol?

A:  No alcohol is allowed into the park.   The Cantigny restaurant will be selling beer and wine at the event.   Coolers will be checked upon entrance into the park.

Q: Will food and beverages be available for purchase at the concert?

A: Yes, food vendors will be operating in the park.

Q: Will the public be given early access to the park prior to the concert?

A: Cantigny is closed to the public on this day.   You must have a Rockin ticket to get into the park.

Q: What if it rains? Can I get a refund on my ticket?

A: The concert is a rain or shine, no refund event.  If severe weather forces the cancellation of the event your ticket is a tax deductible donation to Operation Support Our Troops - America and will pay the postage on a comfort package being sent to a military person serving in harms way.  If weather is a factor, the OSOT America website will be updated, accordingly.  Q: What will be happening throughout the day of the concert? A: Refer to the Event Schedule elsewhere on this site.

Q: Will credit cards be accepted?

A:  Discover, Visa and MasterCard may only be used in the Product Sales tents for purchase of t-shirts, caps and other concert merchandise.  Credit cards cannot be used to purchase concert tickets or raffle tickets.  Credit cards may be accepted by food vendors at their discretion.  There will be extra ATMs located onsite.
